To all that I served with We few, we happy few, we band of brothers! What’s he that wishes so?

My cousin Westmoreland? No, my fair cousin;

If we are mark’d to die, we are enow

To do our country loss; and if to live,

The fewer men, the greater share of honour.

God’s will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.

By Jove, I am not covetous for gold,

Nor care I who doth feed upon my cost;

It yearns me not if men my garments wear;

Such outward things dwell not in my desires.

But if it be a sin to covet honour,

I am the most offending soul alive.

No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from England.

God’s peace! I would not lose so great an honour

As one man more methinks would share from me

For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!

Rather proclaim it, Westmoreland, through my host,

That he which hath no stomach to this fight,

Let him depart; his passport shall be made,

And crowns for convoy put into his purse;

We would not die in that man’s company

That fears his fellowship to die with us.

This day is call’d the feast of Crispian.

He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,

Will stand a tip-toe when this day is nam’d,

And rouse him at the name of Crispian.

He that shall live this day, and see old age,

Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,

And say ‘To-morrow is Saint Crispian.’

Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars,

And say ‘These wounds I had on Crispian’s day.’

Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,

But he’ll remember, with advantages,

What feats he did that day. Then shall our names,

Familiar in his mouth as household words-

Harry the King, Bedford and Exeter,

Warwick and Talbot, Salisbury and Gloucester-

Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb’red.

This story shall the good man teach his son;

And Crispin Crispian shall ne’er go by,

From this day to the ending of the world,

But we in it shall be remembered-

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;

For he to-day that sheds his blood with me

Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,

This day shall gentle his condition;

And gentlemen in England now-a-bed

Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here,

And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks

That fought with us upon Saint Crispin’s day.

Microsoft Security Center hacked days after online security director states “Microsoft unlikely Interestingly, the Microsoft search result poisoning exploit came just days after John Howie, senior director of online services security and compliance governance at Microsoft, told Britain’s Computing magazine that unlike RSA or Sony, Microsoft was extremely unlikely to be hacked by an advanced threat. “Sony was brought down because it didn’t patch its servers, it ran out of date software, and it coded badly. These are rookie mistakes,” said Howie. He likewise labeled RSA being exploited by a social engineering attack as a “rookie mistake.”

Milo’s Point Of View While speaking to my youngest son Milo yesterday on Valentine’s Day I asked “How was you Valentine’s Day?” he replied “Good but I don’t see today as Valentine’s day.”

I said “Oh really, why is that?” I laughed for a while at his reply! He said “Dad, today is not Valentine’s Day to me! It’s halfway to my birthday day to me!”

I just cracked up and said “you have a good point, never thought about it that way.”

Milo’s birthday is on the 28th of February!

Love you kid!

Internet Explorer 9 Beta – Liking IT! I am liking the new beta of Iternet Explorer.  Feels lighter and faster to load, and they were not kidding about keeping it clean up on top!  Here is a screen shot:

Also liking that when IE needs to relay information to you, it is a NEW pop out, instead of the embedded off yellow bar at the top of the browser!  Here is a look at that!:

So if you haven’t checed it out!  You might want to consider it!  Once it goes final that is!  But is you are brave enough to load the Beta here is the link –

Museum Day – September 25, 2010 Well September 25, 2010 is coming up soon and once again Smithsonian Media is hosting it’s 6th annual event, Museum Day.

Museums across the country open their doors for free to anyone presenting a Museum Day Ticket.  The Museum Day Ticket provides free admission to one person, plus a guest.  As with everything “Free” there are some catches:

  • One ticket per household
  • A ticket will gain entry in only one museum and only participating museums
  • Only an official Museum Day ticket is eligible for free entry.

So visit Smithsonian website for more details.  Even though it is only one person and guest per ticket, take the kids and pay for them, the kids tickets are always cheaper than the adult tickets! LOL.

Original Iwo Jima Memorial Monument

The monument is the original full-sized creation of Felix De Welden and was used for the casting of the monument located in Washington, D.C. After completion of the monument in Washington, this sculpture was placed in storage until the early 1980's when it was donated to the Marine Military Academy in Harligen, Texas by its creator. Donations were collected to fund the transport and reassembly of the monument and on 16 April 1982 a ceremony was conducted for the dedication of the monument. The Iwo Jima Museum is located adjacent to the monument and contains many souvenirs, photographs and memorabilia of the famous World War II battle. The grave of Harlon Block, the figure at the base of the flagpole, is located directly behind the monument. Harlon Block was a native of Weslaco, Texas and was a casualty of the battle.

South Padre Island Sunrise – 2010

After a long day of vacationing (visiting stores, at the beach, and playing poker all night, and oh yeah having some drinks!) my brother and I decided to wake up at 6 AM to catch a sunrise on the beach! It was beautiful to say the least! These are the images that I captured.
